I had 3 Fur Babies just last week.....
Tiny (Maltipoo), Moto (Shar-pei mix) and Lucy....Lucy actually came to my door on Christmas week a year ago.  I tried to find her owner and never did (by law or County rules, she was mine after a month).  Well...sadly on January 3rd she run away? I keep thinking someone took her!... I cannot locate her and it's been more than a week... I just hope she is loved and being taken care of as well as we did for a bit over a year, I miss her! (had fallen in love with her!).... ;(

This is Lucy...

This is Tiny.  (and me in the morning without having brushed my hair yet!...they do say pets look just like their owner!)
Tiny is a Maltipoo (mix Maltesse and Poodle)
Love him! he is super cuddly and super smart!
And this is Moto Cross with my daugther, Moto for short.  He is just a big teddy bear and super special to me.  He and I share the same birth date!
(These were previously shared/blogged).

Project Life Cover Page

I came across Project Life about a year ago and decided that this year I will take the plunge.
Project Life is supposed to be a keep it simple approach to documenting your life, but since I am fairly new to scrapbooking and love to create layouts, I will be including this year layouts in my album as well.

If you visit my blog, you know I like the color green, and of course my album is from BG and it is green!  (I have several of these albums, so if all goes well, these are the albums I will be using this year and in the future).

The closest of the Project Life kits that have my colors or color scheme that I like is the Turquoise edition, but it is currently out of stock, so I decided that I will for the most part be creating the filler cards an embellishments with products I already have. (I will probably purchase the core kit when it becomes available and combine the matching pieces with what I have already created).

This is my cover page.
I did purchase the Photo Pockets Pages Big Variety pack and the 3"x4"journaling cards (both currently out of stock) and will be ordering the 6"x12" protectors when they become available.

I will additionally be using for the most part, files from Kerri Bradford and the Online Silhoutte store (I like all the sentiments available that go hand in hand with documenting life.  I love Kerri's files!)

I will be mostly documenting my daughter, my grand daughters, my fury babies and my love for flowers/plants/gardening in addition to my daily life.  I decided to do this for my grand daughters and their future kids and generations.  It really made me sad to think that I am not that old, (no, really!) and I no longer have either of my parents nor my grand parents to ask them any questions about....well, anything!  And there is little documentation left!

NOTE: I have previously attempted Project12 twice (monthly layout page/s documenting life). One year (2010 had just come across scrapbooking) I got to create 5 and the other (2011), only one :(
Additionally, during 2010 I attempted Project365 (taking a picture everyday and uploading it)...I actually did pretty good at taking the pictures, I just got too busy to upload them to the site.

My approach to this project will be taking pictures and notes during the week and print pictures and create pages during the weekend or on Sunday/Monday, take pictures Monday/Tuesday and blog about it on Wednesdays (January 1 was a Sunday so I will document Sunday-Saturday).

Thanks for visiting and enduring this long post!

These are some of the main items I will be using on my Project Life.

Hugs and Kisses Layout

Hope everybody is doing great on this second week of the year!
Today is Tuesday and to me that means I get to share a project
created for Happy N Scrappin' Online Craft Store

I used Fancy Pants Love Story Layout Kit for the following one page layout.
This is my version of layout #1 on your kit

The first picture is more true to the colors, but the flash got in the way.  The second picture is a bit more warmer, but I like it the same.  I really like how the papers match the colors in my pictures, especially my daughter's dress that actually has the same combination of neutrals, reds, pinks and blues.

Dove tail banners is one of the hot trends in the paper crafting world today (along with Twine, Chevrons and Tangerine Tango colors) and are part of the suggested layout on your kit.  I have to admit that I do have a hard time using the banners upside down as suggested on the kit, so I flipped mine down and added some Black Coffee Timeless Twine (I really like the rich deep black color in this twine) and buttons from the collection on both sides.

Another change I made on this layout is the placement of the buttons and the added tabs and XO that I cut with my cutting machine.  Additionally, I used a different tag then the suggested one so that by using this one I can add my journal entry.  I used removable tape because I want to type my entry and did not have access to a typewriter today.

Remember that each kit provides enough product and instructions to create your layouts as suggested or to accommodate your taste/preference.

Valentine's Note Cards and Crochet basket

Today I am posting my first project as a member ofthe Twineology Design Team for Timeless Twine!

I created four little Valentine's note cards...

I cut the designs with my cutting machine and used the negative to write lightly with pencil.  I traced the pencil lines with adhesive and went to work with the yummy Strawberry Cupcake Valentine's Day Twine! it was that simple!  (You might be thinking...why didn't she just use the pens in her cutting machine? well because I can use the cuts for other projects, ha!).

I additionally want to share a project I created in December and have not yet shared/posted.  I crochet this little ornament to give to my sister that just loves to knit.

I was inspired by a similar design that I saw at the Red Heart site a while back but was knitted... while I know the basics of knitting I prefer to crochet, while my sister that does know how to crochet, prefers to knit. (I do not have a pattern, I usually crochet by looking or thinking... I have been crocheting since I was 6).

Thanks for stopping!  If you have any questions about any of my projects, just leave a comment and I will reply ASAP.
