Creating a Grab Button

How to create your own “Grab Button”

First, decide what picture or image you are going to use.

Second, upload to location/host of your choice such as Photobucket, Picasa, Flickr, Piczo, etc.

Third, copy the picture/image location and paste below where it says PASTE IMAGE LOCATION HERE (replace red-bold-letters)

Fourth, enter/type blog’s address (I am using mine-replace with yours) WWW.GABYCREATES.COM –does not have to be in capital letters (for illustration purposes only)

Fifth, replace GabyCreates with your blog’s name.

<div align="center"> <a href="http://WWW.GABYCREATES.COM" target="_blank"><img alt="GabyCreates" src="PASTE IMAGE LOCATION HERE"/></a> </div> <div align="center"> <form><textarea rows="6" cols="20"><center><a href="http://WWW.GABYCREATES.COM" target="_blank"><img alt="GabyCreates" src="PASTE IMAGE LOCATION HERE"/></a></center></textarea></form> </div>

You are now ready to add to your blog as an HTML/JavaScript gadget.

Sixth, Sign in to your blog- Click Design

-Click on Add Gadget (view of my sidebar - you can add anywhere you have a choice to add a gadget or even on a blog post)

-Click on + sign on HTML/Javascript option

-Type title such as “Grab Button” or your preference

-Copy the above code you changed and added your information and paste in body/content or bigger box

-Click save and Tada!

TIP: After you change the above code with all your information, you can additionally save it as a document for future reference.  Next time all you have to do is replace the Image/Picture's location!!

Hope this helps at least one blogging friend!  ~Gaby

Cricut Craft Room is now open to all

Cricut Craft Room is now open  -- Click HERE for more information and to get started.

You can download the desktop version and be able to Cut, Design, and Save  OR
use the Web version to Design and Save for later --  must have Internet access.

NOTE: You must own the cartridge to be able to cut

I was one of the Beta testers and think is a good tool to have similar to Design Studio or Gypsy (personal opinion -- I am not affiliated to ProvoCraft nor receive compensation).

Quick Xmas Cards

Today I have two quick cards that are Easy to Make and to Mail
They fit on a regular envelope and require only one postage stamp.

The MM Twinkle collection has this package of 74 die-cuts that are glittery and gorgeous.
MM Twinkle is on sale right now over at the Happy N Scrappin'

I just embossed a piece of 4.5" x 10" (embossed only 4.5" x 5" or the front) white and red cardstock-- any embossing folder you have will do and added embellishments from the MM Twinkle collection (on sale).
White - Stamped using the pens on my stamp before stamping, run through embossing machine, added the embellishments, pearls and twine. The pearls were from my collection, but you can find several brands at the STORE, just click on below link/picture. (the word peace was cut with a PTI die)

Red - Run through embossing machine, inked with dabber, added embellishments and piece of ribbon.

Click on picture below for link to STORE
