-Cut 11 butterflies at 2" from Serenade-- layered one (placed half of one on guy--don't remember him!)
-Rolled a piece of PP to make it look like a diploma
-Stamped the "You're on your way", "graduation hat" and "school days" with distress walnut ink
-Added two brads, scalloped edge and doodling...
I entered this LO in the Circle Blog's Weekly Challenge BABY- Brads, Aqua, Butterflies, You

Butterfly and Cage using Serenade for Creative Cutter Room Challenge

Good morning and welcome to the first
Challenge as a DT member for
Love Bug
is the Challenge,
and the prize?
I used Cricut Serenade cartridge to create my project-
I cut four cages at 5.5" and a 3.5" square which I scored at .25" on each side and adhered to the inside to create my cage.  I than tied the metal butterfly and with same string tied the four top ends of cage and added a ribbon.

The butterfly (I made sure that the butterfly was a bug, and it is!)  was cut at 2.25" with its layers. I adhered coarse glitter to layer and fine glitter to base using my Xyron.-- I initially wanted all white, but after deciding to add the silver metal butterfly I changed my mind.

The metal butterfly has a sentiment= butterfly kisses.
Now go visit the other DT member's projects Carri, Jenny and Melin
at Creative Cutter Room  http://www.creativecutter.org/
And make sure you enter for an apportunity to win the Jasmine Cricut cartridge
(mhhh, I don't have that one!)

Baby Card for "Scraplift a Circle Blog Project Challenge"!

Scraplift a Circle Blog Project Challenge! while showcasing
Imaginisce Enchanted Collection for Happy N Scrappin'
The Circle Blog provided no instructions on how this card was created, so I just looked and looked (OK stared!) at card and figured what exact paper and techniques the Designer had used up the the painting of the first layer! (I used a white dubber) -- Lucky that Happy N Scrappin' had just sent me the Enchanted Collection from Imaginisce!
This is the card that Circle Blog Designer Sarah Martina Parker created
Requirements:
•Use 2 or more Cricut Cuts on the project.
Cut Baby Shower word and shadow at 1.12" using my Gypsy and Expression
Cut Baby Girl undies at 5.98" (it's the layer--reason for large size cut)
and added the bow to be cut on the undies at 3.35" (layer also)
Cut bear head at 1.73"
Cut pin at 2.03"
Cut frame/label  at 3.25" and at 2.95"
•Use a project you have seen on the Cricut Circle Blog as inspiration for your project.
They just posted this baby card to showcase the new Baby Steps cartridge, but of course I do not have yet, so I used the following carts to scraplift!
Paper Dolls for Everyday
New Arrival
Storybook
•Use products from at least two of our Sponsors
I used Imaginisce Enchanted (same used) for patterned paper and ribbon that you can find at HappyNScrappin', and Bazzil Basic white and pink cardstock.
