Cat in the Jack - Peachy Keen Challenge

I decided to enter the Peachy Keen Challenge #35 Color Combo :: Sketch

I love their Cat in the Jack stamp, but I do not own it!
so I thought I get creative with the Cricut.
All paper is DCWV solid and print from the Midnight Spell Stack.
I inked everything and added black ribbon and dew drops. Circle was cut with Nestabilities.
I used PDDU for the cat and pumpkin.
Pumpkin cut at 5" and cat at 3" twice to layer.  I hand cut the kitties paw to adhere to pumpkin.
The card is cut 5"x7" black cardstock.
And of course I used the Peachy Keen stamps for both faces.
(I just realized I did not color the eye whites...and I have an oopsies on the left hand-side of the pumpkin, I had ink on my finger!)

A Diaper Card

I created this card using George and Basic Shapes--
I have been wanting to create a diaper card but decided not to purchase a template and come up with my own.  It took a few shapes from George, and welding on Gypsy.
After cutting I can see a few flaws (I will improve), but all in all I'm ok with the end result.
I use New Arrival for the cuttest monkey!! and Cloud 9 for the sentiment.
I also use three of my ek punches.

Oh and how can I forget, I am entering this card in Momo's challenge

BASIC GREY - PAGE OF THE MONTH - ALL ABOUT ME

I have been meaning to post my first POTM All about me layouts.
I started this album for 2009 during the Christmas break and did not finish until this year.
I really like Basic Grey paper and the work of Kelly Goree.
This is the cover page or index page.

And this is the two-page layout for the month of January

New Basic Grey by Sizzix - ek success punches - Fiskars and blog hop winner!

Look what I just run into at Joann....
Basic Grey Embossing folders by Sizzix!
I only purchased one, but they had  8 of them. (I will go back with coupon or when they are on sale) I should have taken pictures with my phone, but I thought I could come home and find pictures on the Internet, but nothing!  There were no postings of these new folder on the Sizzix nor Basic Grey official sites as of last night. (don't you sometimes wonder why big companies do not immediately advertise on their sites their new releases????)

I also found many of the ek extra extra large punches at Joann (24), only 8 at Michaels, but only 6 at the official ek site!  (a bit weird to me!)
The punch to your right is the regular ek success and the one to your left is one of the new super large?
On the background you can see that I punch a sample of several just to test them ( I usually test them before I throw away the packaging because some of previous punches I have purchased from different vendors do not punch all the way or are a bit faulty).

I than discovered this new product from Fiskars

This is the starter kit at $12.99 and at the bottom you can see additional stamps at $3.99. You can also purchased different ink color cartridges, it comes with a black one and a "doodle flowers" stamp.

Some of the additional stamps I bought.

You can see here how it stamps--
and more of the ek success super large punch samples.

No, I did not forget... the winner is Terrie B.

Pagoda Card and Two-Page LO

While browsing around I came across an updated post from Agnes at flowerdiscosscraphut regarding her Sweet Pagoda Challenge. I immediately thought, "I have been wanting a personalized stamp", which happens to be the prize, and "I have never used my oh-I-had-to-have-it-or-I'll-die-Pagoda cart", and "the pictures of my daughter my DH just took of her where she looks like a Beautiful Geisha will go so well...", so I set up to create a two page lo, but after reading further down the posting I found out that the winner will give her/his card/project to Eileen (the lady making and donating the personalized stamp).  So I thought, I'll just go buy my own stamp... Eileen is not feeling good right now (I contacted her for details......).  Anyway, after going  back and forth in my mind, I finally came up with the "I'll make a card and a two page lo and still enter!  Hello!!

This is the card

This is the LO
DH was so excited to have received 10 comments!!!! on his golf layout that he wanted to be involved, so I had him color the dragon which comes with only one small layer (orange swirly)... I think he did a great job coloring the tongue and shadows, etc.

The Kanji word on the LO is Daughter
and on the card is Health

Paper is DCWV and Core'dinations for solid
Everything was inked with antique linen distress ink
every cut is from Pagoda cartridge except the pond (water)
You probably cannot tell, but on the Kimono I added bling wih the Imaginisce i-rock (I am not very happy with the result - the glue came out and cannot be removed)
