DH creates his first Golf Two-Page LO

My DH Angel had mentioned to me that he would scrapbook with me someday.....

He is an avid golfer and a couple of days ago announced to me that he was ready for his first Layout!

This is what he came up with!!

All I did for him is cut on the Cricut, the rest he would just ask me how do I? and he would.

He also asked me to critique, so I said that we could improve on the O and F and since purple is his favorite color and the marker did not work well on the chipboard letters, he has since made them look better by using Smooch purple paint (I had forgotten I had some).

If you are here I hope you just arrived from visiting the Sweet Madison from FunkyCards if not, START from the beginning! with Shelley at Heartstrings! 

I created a Card Set of four cards and a folder. My initial thought was to create everything in Black & White, but decided to add a bit of red!

The folder was created using a 11 x 8 1/2 piece of white card stock.

From the horizontal side you score and fold at 2 1/4. If you need detail instruction email me.

You end up with a 5 1/2 wide x 6 1/4 tall folder so your A2 size cards fit perfectly.

 

The four cards are A2 size.

I stamped four of the My Heart Stamps 4 You stamps on white Georgia Pacific card stock. Since I was going for the black and white I decided not to color.

Each card was embellished a bit different.

I tried cutting the wings with vellum, but could not get my Expression to behave!

Buttons - Red Heart

Black Hemp
