Today I created a card using one of our sponsor's stamps.
None other than Ms Emma from My Creative Time!

Here you can see I scored lines on the vellum to give it a design or dimension. And below you can see that I used a piece of tulle on top of the pink cardstock to soften the look of the hot pink colored cardstock.
I used My Creative Time's "Race for a Cure" Stamp set!
We will be giving one away at the LUFP party!
and she so generously gave me one to play with!

Make sure to take a look at what Yolie and Celeste created! ...  they both have a giveaway!

I have a Tim Holtz by Ranger Distress Ink pad in Wild Honey! just for leaving a comment.

Thanks for visiting and would love it if you could help us spread the word!

Peachy Peach Card

Today is challenge day
over at CookingWithCricut
and the challenge is
Peaches!
August is Peach Month
Peaches (Prunus persica) are native to China where they have been cultivated for centuries. Not only have they been mentioned in Chinese writings dating back to the 10th Century BC,  they have also been the subject of many Chinese folk tales,  including having been consumed by the Immortals for their mystic powers of giving long life.  The Persians are believed to have introduced the peach to Europe from China and Spanish explorers took them to the Americas in the 16th century.

I created my first spinner card inspired by Glora's post over at Peachy Keen Stamps
(she has a tutorial)
Here you can see how glittery the Core'dinations paper is
I used Cosmo Cricket PP and Core'dinations glitter cardstock.
Cricut Wild Card and Just Because cards.

Hope you can join the challenge over at CWC --
Please stop by to see what the other member of our DT created.

Splish Splash I Was Having Some Fun!

I created this layout using the Beach Babe Collection by Fancy Pants Designs
that you can find over at Happy N Scrappin'
For the flowers, I used several of the collections flowers, layered them together offsetting them.  After layering them together I applied pressure on the back and twisted them together. I finished by clipping or cutting the tip so that they can lay a bit more flat on my layout.
I added brads to some of the flowers and below and above my pictures.
I added some random machine stitching.
The title reads on top "Splish" and at the bottom "Splash I Was Having Some Fun!
This is my Lauren having the time of her life playing with the water ground fountain!

These are some of the items I used that you can find at Happy N Scrappin'
