Project Life | Week Four

I made it to week 4 --
I guess baby steps is what it takes.

It actually took me longer to post week 4 because I wanted to create layouts of a couple of occasions involving my grand daughters.  Jasmine was inducted to the "Math Rocks" wall and Lauren learned how to dispense her own water in a glass (glass) out of the refrigerator.
The cloud was punched using a Fiskars punch, the sun using a Imaginisce punch, and wind was cut using a Silhouette design and the week 4 was cut using Kerri Bradford's file.
I had an interesting week weather wise.  It rained on Monday, we had a "gusty winds" warning on Wednesday (oh yes, it gets windy down the highway-- pushes my truck!), and by Friday, I enjoyed a hot sunny day!  Yeap, this is winter in So CA.
Jasmine had a very interesting day at school.  She is on the "Math Rocks" wall, and of course I had to create a layout to document that (layout or page map from the Echo Park blog).  It was also "pajama day" (on my journal entry I wrote pijama [Spanglish] for pajama) and "Family Night".  I have more pictures to create an additional layout of her, Daddy and Lauren helping her create a family project-- they created a squared based pyramid.

The Monday and Wednesday journal cards I purchased from Ormolu, the library journal card is from the Silhouette online store and the colorful one is a free download.

On the Wednesday card I journal more on the back, so I stamped and hand cut a pull me tab and since the protectors have the opening on one side only (the opposite), I carefully cut a slit on this side so that the tab and journal card can be pulled to read what's behind.
The first two journal cards and the bottom left card are a free download from Becky Higgins and match the Clementine collection.  The cards print at an odd size (not 4x6 or 3x4).  After printing the cards, I trimmed them down to fit the 3x4 slots.  The other four journal cards are a free download from ....

I created a kitchen scene on this simple/clean lines layout.
Love the metallic paper I found to cut the refrigerator, stove and range hood.  It really looks like Stainless Steel! the one that repels fingerprints! All cut files are from the Silhouette online store.
