Okay I wanted to share a sweet story with you.... As most of you know I make Journals of Love for cancer patients. I bring the journals I make to my local Cancer center. Well I got a phone call from another Cancer center asking me if I still make the journals.... I said "I absolutely do". She then asked me if I would bring some to her. I told her I would be there within the hour. When I go to the cancer center to my surprise there was a lady waiting there for me. She had received one of my journals. She has breast cancer. She showed me her journal. I cried. The journal was tattered and worn. She then told me that the journal helped her to get through the toughest times.... She really touched by heart....
Today I am sharing with you a few journals I made and a card.... I hope you like.....
These two journals will be going to my local cancer center. The digi images that I used on the journals are from Fresh Brewed Designs. I used Tulip paint on the vase of roses from I Love to Create. (Both of these companies are sponsors for LUFP)
I made this card using an SVG file from Yolie. Isn't a wonderful card base.... The flowers are some flowers I won from a friend Jani's blog candy. The beautiful paper you see is called Bonjour from Kaiser Crafts.(sponsor for LUFP) The beaded butterfly is made by me.... I really enjoyed making this card to send to the PA Breast Cancer Coalition
