Easter Two-Page Layout

I started this layout a while back..........

I was inspired by Okielady. She used different carts and papers and offers a .cut file which I did not use, but you can take advantage of her generosity.

Supplies used:
Pink paper -  Bazzil
Print paper - ?
Paper for little flowers - DCWV
Other paper - Core'dinations
EK flower punches
Easter 2010 Cart for some eggs
My Community Cart for basket and back grass
Every Day Paper Dolls Cart for Bunny and front grass
Stretch Your Imagination for Tree
Silhoutte egg designs for some eggs and frames
Cuttlebug for frames
MS butterfly punch
Ribbon
Glitter glue

I cut the bunny twice and inked his cheeks and tail.
The flower were cut making sure the the center of the punch was on the little mini flower to create the center of my flowers.

First Cake using Cricut Cake

It was fun and messy!!! and some wasted frosting sheets!!!!!
My BFF Abby invited me over so that we can decorate our first cake using the Cricut Cake together!
This is me (top) learning how to work with fondant! (the white powder is powder sugar so that the fondant won't stick to your surface!)

This is the end result! Abby brushed brandi! yes, brandi so it becomes shiny and you see no white powder!
We discovered that the fondant cuts beautifuly, but not the frosting sheets.... or was it that larger size cuts such as the 2" edge you see cut beautifuly with fondant, but when we tried cutting a "happy birthday" layered sign/sentiment, it ruined the frosting sheets... it would cut nice going one way, but as soon as the Cricut Cake came back to cut the rest of the sign/sentiment it would pull the frosting sheet and mess up the whole thing.   I think we tried 3 times before giving up and just cut RINA in bigger letters!!

The sentiment stamp is from Cloud 9 and the journaling block was created with Spellbinders nestabillities and Cuttlebug.
The paper is Linen Closet by DCWV
Buttlerfly punch by MS, both scalloped edge punches by EK
Joy embellisment by DCWV and the flower was cut by hand and pop dotted

And One More Two-Page LO for Yessie

This is for their save the date picture taken day. Once again this LO was created with PageMaps inspiration and the Linen Closet stack from DCWV.  The LO asked for 3 pictures on the left page, but I decided to add their actual invitation or note "to save the date".

I cut the hearts both in print and in black to give them some dimension. Everything was inked with Ranger antique linen and MS chalk ink -blue.  EK punch for the zig zag, epoxy letters, and DCWV embellishments were used.  The ribbon is the actual ribbon from their announcement.

I am not liking the journaling  mmhh, I think I will change it.  Anyway, this LO only took me less than an hour from planing the LO to the paper, cutting, inking, glueing...... I am so proud of myself!!

One more Two-Page LO for Yessie

The wedding is in July, but the next bridal shower is in two weeks. My initial intention was to create a couple of LO, but I'm on a roll! I might even fill the album (that would be 9 two-page LO and two single LO for front and back of album).
This LO was again created with the Linen Closet from DCWV (I bought several stacks, the print, the solid and the mat Linen Closet stacks because it goes perfectly with her wedding colors) and inspired by PageMaps.
Everything was inked with Tim Holtz Distress Ink antique linen with the exception of the chairs and table.  I used the vintage photo ink for them. I used pop-up foam squares to give the chairs, plate and Dinner word a 3-D effect.  After stamping the sentiment, I colored around it with Prismacolor pencils.

Stamp sentiment - Cloud 9
Chairs, table and cadle holders, Silhouette designs cut with Pazzles
Plate and flatware cut with From My Kitchen cart
Title cut using Gypsy to weld and Base Camp cart
Blue Puffy Paint
EK Punch
