A Day At The Zoo

I created this Two-Page LO to enter Emma's Thursday Throwback.  We are to use Zooballoo or older animal Cricut cartridge.  I do not own the Zooballoo cartridge, but I do own the Animal Kingdom cartridge.
The bird, tiger, crocodile, snake and hippo and the word zoo were created using Animal Kingdom.  The gate was created using the Christmas-Noel cartridge using the hide countour feature and adding two rectangles from the George and basic shapes.
For the trees I used the Serenade cartridge .
I used a Fiskars punch for the little flower and a MS punch for the butterflies.
For the frame on the middle picture I used the Stretch Your Imagination cartridge.
For the word zoo and the butterflies I used Smooch paints. (I do not realy like the tuxedo color, it made the word be silvery shiny/metalic instead of tuxedo black shiny!)

I used my just received Dew Drops for the center of the flowers.
I used Copic sketch markers to color the bird.
Finally, most everything was inked.
Thanks for taking the time to visit and since you are here, don't leave without posting a comment!
(like my BFF stated, we bloggers feed on these!!! hehe)

Yessie's Wedding Stuff

Still working on little things here and there for my Niece's wedding tomorrow!
My sister bought the frame for not much and painted it black.  My daughter and niece worked on the guest list and printed it on a 11x17 in. paper and I cut the Damask with Pazzles (Silhouette design).

After cutting the Damask I was going to use transfer paper to transfer the design to the frame, but my daughter had the idea of using the negative space.  The only problem is that the design was all scattered or not welded together. So for the first time I figured how to get an outline on Silhouette and transfer the file to the Pazzles to end up with this!  And some of the design pieces were used for the top.

These are some of the pieces from the Damask that were used for the top.
I just notice!!!!  I still need the monogram with their initials!!!
If you wish to see some of the many two-page layouts I did for her click HERE

Thanks for taking the time to visit!!!!  off to create the monogram!!!!

Heartstrings Design Team Blog Hop! with Blog Candy!

Now Closed!
Welcome to The Heartstrings Design Team Blog Hop!!!
Hopefully you have arrived here from Pam's Blog , if not, please start at the beginning with Shelley from Heartstrings.

I created this layout using DCWV Songbird stack and our wonderful sponsor's stamps
My Heart Stamps 4 U
I created the extra bear with Pazzles, but decided not to use.
I altered both stamps used for this layout, below you can see a picture of their original and finished state.
For the bear, I cut his wings off.  I colored with Copic markers and added Xmas Red Stickles. I hand cut the swings seat, used brown hemp cord and 3D foam to add dimension.
For the sentiment, I used the Marvy Uchida Brush Markers in Red and Green and colored the sections I wanted on the stamp one at a time wiping the ink in between uses.  I used Spellbinders Nestabilities Oval to cut the label, hand cut the leaf from the paper and added some BG brads.
The three buttons are from Favorite Findings. I added hemp to the middle button.
The frame and corners were cut with my Pazzles and they are Silhouette designs.
And now for the funnest part!  Some Blog Candy!!!!
