hosted by my comadrita Abby

Hopefully you just arrived from Erin's Blog

but if you just happen to be visiting and wish to participate,

Today I created a tissue box and disinfecting wipes set to give to a teacher.
Trust me, they will appreciate it....

These is a miniature set - box 1.25" high and disinfecting wipes container is 3"
You can fit the personal size tissue packages inside or you can fill it up with candy or goods of choice
Here I am showing how it opens just like an actual box of tissue!
I used the PSA stamp set "Super Star"
Cut file with my Silhouette SD

OK, I did state to trust me, but if in doubt, I found this layout that might help you understand where I'm coming from....

I came across this layout that Caroline Davis created - I requested her permission to post her layout  here and she agreed! Thanks Caroline!!  Please visit Caroline's blog, she creates the coolest layouts! http://www.pouringoverpictures.blogspot.com

If you read the journal entry, you will get a chuckle

I just thought it was so cool that while I am thinking I am alone in this, I come across a layout that conveys exactly what I was trying to share!

Tic Tac Toe with PKS

Today is my last day as a PKS Guest Designer!

It is my hope that I have inspired at least one visitor to use Peachy Keen products
in a different or new way that they had used them before!

For my last post I decided to create something fun!
 A Tic Tac Toe game!

The green look brighter than it really is..
It is a magnetic dry erase board
Every piece you see including the title has magnet on the back (thinking on creating another game to use here- that way my grand daughters can play different games).
Here you see how the dies cut through card stock and thin magnet sheets.
Here you can see that by running it through the die cutting machine it only cuts through the magnet and not the paper attached to the magnet sheet.  I purchased a roll 12"x24" at Michaels for under $5 and used less than 8"x12".
This project was inspired by a project Deanna Misner created for the Cricut Circle blog.

Remember if you leave a comment on any post here and on my blog, it gives you one entry each!

Double Chocolate Chunk with PKS

Welcome to Day 4 of my PKS Guest Designer spot!

If you are here from the Roberts Arts and Crafts Hop, welcome!
So excited to be part of their new Design Team!
Hopefully you just arrived from Barb's Blog, if not start HERE

For the PSA Essentials with The Scrapbooking Queen scroll to previous post.

Today I venture myself into edible inking/stamping.

Here you can see what I used-  (and that I was playing with it!)
I tried smaller faces, but preferred the larger one.

I tried the making my own stamp pad with Wilton's gel but I much prefer the Wilton's FoodWriters
Edible Color Markers.
1-I washed my stamp and block thoroughly and rinsed with distilled water
2-Let air dry
3-Inked my stamp with the FoodWriter black marker
4-Stamp applying light pressure

The stamp is from the Happy Face set that you can find HERE

PKS Happy Flower Shirt

Today is Day three of my Guest Design spot over at the Peachy Keen Home Blog

For today's post, I decided to venture into cutting fabric with their dies

My niece could not keep a straight face.... I don't know what was more fun, trying to take her picture or creating this shirt!
If you own these dies, you will agree why I got so happy to have found the perfectly matching fabric!
After my excitement and taking pictures, I realized I had not painted the flower's nose, tongue nor eyes.
Here you see them painted now!

I used Peachy Keen Stamps - CottageCutz dies that you can find at their STORE
The package comes with the faces and cute critters stamps included.

I followed the included instruction to cut stiff/thin fabric.
Ironed to Heat N Bond, run through cutting machine and ironed on to shirt.
I made my own stamp pad using fabric ink. Yes, it is washable!
1-got empty pad 2-added fabric ink 3-practice plenty 4-iron on top of it after 24hrs
5-now you can wash
I love how the fabric matches perfectly the packaging colors! and I did not take the package to the store!
Here are the supplies used -- with the brush I added fabric paint to a clean stamp pad -- It washes right off -- I used toothpicks to paint the tongues, eyes and nose.
Here you can see that I had to practice--

PSA Blog Hop Day 3

Welcome to Gaby Creates
and to the PSA Essentials & The Scrapbooking Queen Design Team Week Long Hop

Hopefully you just arrived from Cristi's Blog , if not, and you wish to hop with us, click HERE to start at the beginning.

This week I will be posting each day a project using the Peel & Stick "Super Star" pack.
I hope you come visit each day!
Today I created a card using a masking technique with the stamps
I stamped one by one the letter you see on your left with different colored inks.
I additionally stamped and cut the apple - added glossy accents
I couldn't help my self with adding staples, paper clips and a clasp from Tim Holtz collection.
