Shirt Card - Day 3 of Queen's Court Hop

Welcome to Day 3 of the Hop
showcasing A-manda Creation "Glad You Are My Dad" digital kit
as a member of The Scrapbooking Queen's DT

Hopefully you just arrived from Cristi's Blog, if not start at the Queen's blog.

For today's project, I created another shirt so that my granddaughter Luren could take home to her Dad. I mentioned yesterday that that particular card was for my granddaughter Jasmine to give to her Dad, but when she saw this on, she picked it saying that this looked like her Dad (Lauren took the other one -- no choice, she is 3!)

I followed this tutorial to create my card
and since I did not know I needed double sided paper, I inked the inside of my cardstock so that the t-shirt would pop up since it has to be white.

Bugs Bunny's Birthday

Today is Bugs Bunny's Birthday
and we at Cooking With Cricut have a challenge!

Create anything Bugs Bunny (emphasis on the bunny)
Bugs Bunny's evolution

Bugs Bunny is a fictional animated character who starred in the Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies series of animated films produced by Leon Schlesinger Productions, which became Warner Bros. Cartoons in 1944.[1] Bugs starred in 167 shorts during the Golden Age of American animation, and cameoed in many others, including few appearances in non-animated films. He is an anthropomorphic hare or rabbit.
According to Bugs Bunny: 50 Years and Only One Grey Hare, he was born in July 27, 1940 in Brooklyn, New York in a warren under Ebbets Field, home of the Brooklyn Dodgers. In reality, he was created by many animators and staff, including Tex Avery, who directed A Wild Hare, Bugs' debut role, and Robert McKimson, who created the definitive "Bugs Bunny" character design. According to Mel Blanc, the character's original voice actor, Bugs has a Flatbush accent. Bugs has had numerous catchphrases, the most prominent being a casual "Eh... What's up, doc?", usually said while chewing a carrot. (wikipidia)

I crated this carrot box using the Cricut 3 Birds-Life's A Party cartridge.  It measures 9" in length fitting pencils that I will give to a co-worker that loves to say "Ehh, What's Up Doc?" at one of the HS I work at and happens to be a teacher.

Origami Shirt

Welcome to Day 2 of the Hop
showcasing A-manda Creation "Glad You Are My Dad" digital kit
as a member of The Scrapbooking Queen's DT

Hopefully you just arrived from Cristi's Blog, if not start at the Queen's blog.
For today's project, I created an Origami shirt so that my granddaughter Jasmine take home to her Dad. When my daughter saw this, she said, Oh this is him!

photo with more light shows button's true color
photo shows the true color of the teal/blue color
I saw this in a book and on YouTube, rather than listing all the sources (I saw so many that I memorized how to make it and cannot give credit to just one because I do not remember them all), you can search Origami shirt on YouTube and find tons of "how to" videos.
I measured the body of the shirt (shoulders to bottom without the sleeves) and created a card to adhere to so that my granddaughter write her own message.
