A We've Moved One Page Layout

Today is Challenge Wednesday over
at CookingWithCricut, and the challenge
is to use you Pens/Markers or a Sun if you do not own the Pens or Markers
Edited to add this picture (learning how to blur/pixelize an area)
My niece and her husband just purchased their first home.
After looking at the Word Collage booklet and looking at this desing, I remember just receiving this postcard my niece sent announcing her new address (I hid the address and phone number with a piece of pattern paper of a fence) and decided I had to combine the two.
One thing came after another since things were not coming out as planned.  My Gypsy is in the hospital and can think of many other ways I could have done/created this.  But all and all, I really like how this layout came out.  It is really much prettier and dimensional in person.

Edited to add the two pictures above--
All the designs I hand cut from a piece of PP from My Little Shoebox.
I cut scalloped edges with a die and added some twine and a button in addition to my oh so common now, stitching.

Thanks for visiting!
Hope you can go visit and see what my CWC DT sisters created and enter the Challenge!

A Two-Page Layout - A Fair Day

When Happy N Scrappin' sent me this collection to work with, I had no idea what was I going to do with it.
But the minute I saw these pictures on my computer, I knew exactly the collection to use and was amazed at how the colors match the girl's outfits just perfect!

This is my Granddaughter Jasmine and my niece Arianna having the time of their lives!!

A Sharing Blog

Just wanted to share some of the fun activities I am enjoying with my Grand babies while they are here visiting me for the summer!

I stitched the blue flower to the red and to the sandals with strong quilting thread.  The white flower and the bling were adhered with a glue gun.
I asked them to model, and model they did!

Jasmine and Lauren helped me to create these flowers to decorate their sandals
We used Cricut Flower Shoppe and felt -
I found felt at Michaels that was stiff (for lack of a better word) and did not have to use a backing to cut, but have to confess that it was not that easy....
And this picture is just for fun!... couldn't help myself!
