Thanksgiving Card for the Elderly | IFTL Project

As I was about to start creating this post for IFTL Project I noticed that this will be my 600 blog post!
So I must celebrate! and celebrate means a giveaway! and how appropriate since I Feel The Love Project is a blog dedicated to giving cards to those needing a pick-me-up!  This month IFTL is collecting cards to give Thanksgiving cards to the elderly.  To learn all about it, please click HERE

This is my card or one of several that I plan to create and send.

It's a very simple card.  I originally created several tags during my guest spot at Heartstrings but I never got to post here on my blog and am now thinking that I will convert most if not all into cards.
I added some hand stitching on to of the corners for an extra handmade touch.

IFTL is trying to collect 200 cards to send to 200 seniors! Hope you can participate and help put a smile this Thanksgiving day on a resident over at Chancellors Village.

Giveaway - Leave a comment by Sunday at midnight PST for a chance to win your choice of one set of stamps from my BFF's store!  She has the cutest stamps!!  and even if you don't speak Spanish most of the stamp sets available have the curtest images!! click HERE to see all sets.

Breast Cancer Awareness | LUFP | DEE

Stopping by  with a quick post sharing a card I created for Link Up For Pink

LUFP is celebrating their 3rd annual linking party! Hope you can join my friend Yolie, the host and creator of LUFP.

My card is really a simple card that I created using a technique I have been wanting to try for a little while.

Inside of card below

I first cut the bra with a die from MFT on the front of the card (extending it open).  The second step requires that you fold the card back (close it), place the die on the same spot that you cut it at and run it through you die cutting/embossing machine with an embossing pad to make an imprint on the inside of the card. Hope it makes sense.
The banner is a die from PTI.  For the outline of the banner or glitter paper, I just traces by hand the die and cut it with my scissors.
The sentiments are stamps from Dilo En Español's "Yo Soy Tu Sostén".  No te dejes vencer, yo soy tu sostén it means Don't give up, I am here to support you. Speaking of DEE, I will be participating in a hop hosted by DEE this coming October 18th and 19th.  Hope you can come join us!
But for now, go visit LUFP and join in the linking party!
