Cooking With Cricut Easter Challenge!

Welcome to another Challenge over
at Cooking With Cricut

The challenge this week is an Easter themed challenge #26

This layout might look familiar to you if you visited my blog on Monday.  I created this one first and decided to create the one posted on Monday later so that I can have them both side to side on my scrapbook.

I cut the basket first using the My Community cartridge. Next I cut strips from 1" to 1.5" and weaved on top until I was happy with the result and secured with a few pieces of double sided tape before I proceeded to stitch around. Note, I cut the basket with all its little cuts included without using hide contour-- that allowed me to tuch in the top layers of my weaving under (were it says easter) and proceeded to stitch.

I am really liking sanding my pictures-- I like the look! when I do not want to use a mat (the white around them that looks a bit distress).

Cricut Cuts:
Easter 2010 -- Eggs
Disney Hanna Montana -- letters
Martha Stewart All Occasions Cake Art -- grass borders
My Community -- basket

Thanks for visiting and leaving me a comment!!!
Hope you can enter the challenge and go visit the DT's creations.

Card using Imaginisce Garden Party

It is Tuesday and that for me means I get to play with beautiful
collections available over at
Happy N Scrappin'

Today I have a card I created using Kich N Bleus Designs exclusive digital stamp to those who join them over at Simply Scrapping.
I am a bit bumbed that I touch my imagine after I had colored it with dirty hand (I had ink on my hands).
You can see it a bit on her arm and leg.
I also wanted to include a two page layout I had created using
Imaginisce Garden Party Collection
I know I got Camera Happy-- but it looks so much better in person!
The Imaginisce paper is so pretty and it has this shine to it or sheen?  I like it so much that I
have a hard time cutting it!

Supplies I used from the Store
Blambleberry Blossoms
Wild Flowers
Blossoms of Blue
Rows of Posies
MM Ribbon by the Yard
Cricut Mother's Day Bouquet
MM Crystal Brads
Imaginisce i-rock

Other supplies:
COPIC markers
KichNBleus digital stamp
DCWV Linen Closet Cardstock Stack
Ranger Distress Ink in Tattered Rose and Faded Jeans
DMC floss
COPIC Markers
Kich N Bleus digital image
Foam Dimensionals
Glue dots
Sewing machine

Easter Layout -PaperCraftingWorld

Today is the first Challenge over at
PaperCraftingWorld    (a CookingWithCricut sister blog)

The first challenge is an Easter Challenge

Melin, the owner of the blog is the creator of most of the files I will be using on PCW Monday postings.

Today, I created a layout of my grand daughters and the Golden Egg.
You can purchase the bunny over at PaperCraftingWorld
For my basket weave, I just cut 1 in. pieces of PP and weaved to my 10"x3"
Other items used:
MS All Occasions Cake Art for the grass
Kate's ABC's for the letters
MyLittleShoeBox PP for sky
Cosmo Cricket PP for basket weave
AmericanCrafts white cardstock
Sewing machine
Chalk

This is a sneak peek of my posting on Wednesday for CookingWithCricut.  I created this layout first using all Cricut cuts, so I decided to make it if not a two page layout, two pages that can go together in my scrapbook album and look similar.

Thanks for visiting and leaving a comment.  Please go meet the other DT members and take a look at their  creations and hope you can enter the challenge over at PCW.

Additionally, I would love it if you come back on Wednesday to take a look at my other matching layout!
