Easter Egg Shirts | Timeless Twine

Today is my turn to share over at Timeless Twine

I was really trying hard to decide what to come up with this time... I knew it had to be something Easter themed that I could finish early so I can send to my grand daughters ...and finally came up with shirts for them!

I was able to use 4 colors of the Timeless Twine!
Used a PTI egg die to cut the egg using felt and my BigShot.
I decorated the eggs with the twine and sew around so hopefully after washing the twine is not going anywhere!
I wanted to decorate the neck line and the sleeve edges, but since I came up with this idea a bit late (wanted to get it out in the mail), I left it at this.

Thanks for stopping by and I do appreciate your comments!

Cute Chick Card | Happy N Scrappin'

Today I am sharing this project over at Happy N Scrappin'

Using mainly the SEI Desert Springs collection with a little bit of embellishments from other collections that I will list below, I was able to create this cute chick card.
The brad to the left from the Miss Caroline MME collection that matched perfectly (looks darker in pictures) helps the card top to swing open.
The flower embellishment is from the Desert Springs collection and the twine is from the SEI Vanilla Sunshine.
Here you are surprised with a cute chick inside the card.
The brads I used for the eyes are these cute "crushed velvet brads" from the Doodlebug Design tuxedo collection.
I Inked everything with the Tim Holtz Scattered Straw distress ink.
The chick was created using both sides of the Marigold Dreams PP (yellow and orange) from the SEI Vanilla Sunshine collection, while the outside of the egg was created with the Grand Wash Cliffs PP from the SEI Desert Springs.
And you can close it back up.....
I really enjoyed mixing and matching embellishments from different collections that you can find over at Happy N Scrappin'   --- I almost forgot to mention that the Kraft paper that I used to create the inside of my card is from the Bazzill Vintage Marketplace collection!

The file is a new file from the Silhouette online store by Jennifer Wambach-

Project Life | Week 11

Can't believe it is April already!
Today I am sharing week 11 and am happy to see that I have made it this far...
I am almost done with week 12 and started working on week 13 (to share later).

This particular week was a really busy week for me and my family.  Lots of events to share.
Actually too many pictures to fit in a normal two page layout (I just couldn't chose one per event), so I added a 6"x12" page in between the regular 12"x12" pages... and that was not enough to include the pictures of my Jasmine's birthday, so I have decided to just mentioned it on my journal and create separate layouts of her special day.

I added a little tab on the 6"x12" to direct the viewer to flip the page...
Here a look at the other side of the 6"x12" insert.
Most of my stickers/embellishments are from the Echo Park Graceful collection in addition to two journal cards.  The 4"x6" card I created with my Silhouette Cameo and a file from the online store.
Above and below you can see some of the EP stickers and washi tape from the SMASH collection.
On the first journal (EP) card I stamped a coffee stain.  The second journal card from the PL Clementine collection is one of the cards that unfolds to a 4"x6" and includes lots of info about this week.  Every time I include more information on the back of my journal cards, I staple or add a tab so the viewer can pull out and read.
Closer look at the journal card I cut with my Cameo using the card file I welded the word eleven on top.
The pin button is from Ormolu.
This week I have some items I want to keep and this large envelope is perfect for adding those items you want to preserve for later. I have not yet come up with the title/date/name for my folder.
These are some of the items I included from my Palm Springs CUE conference.  I used this paper bag, cut it in half and sew on one side.
This is my paper bag with some stamping and a die/paper clip from LifestyleCrafts (previously QuicKutz) and a TH mini paper clip.
The big pocket will go as the last "page" on my album with items collected during the year.
