Project Life | Week Three

Today I am sharing week three and some links to free items that might be useful to you.

I added some journal entries directly to my photos using Picasa (a free photograph organizer)
Here my son in law playing dead when asked to perform chores around the house! Yes he did! LOL  When my daughter shared this photo on FB, I just had to include it in my album.
Lauren is showing me how she has hair just like me! [smile]
The week file is one of Kerri Bradford's files.  The number 3 is a cuttlebug die. I added some crazy machine stitching. The tin pin is from Ormolu.
On the first page (similar to this one - first photo on post) I placed two buttons because I wanted to keep some of my journal entry private and here I placed two flowers using Picnik which brings me into the links to free downloads.

Picasa is an image organizer and image viewer for organizing and editing digital photos, plus an integrated photo-sharing website acquired by Google and offered as a free service.

Picnik is a online image-editing tool that makes it easy to make basic tweaks to your photos either for free or more advance features available for paid customers until now!!  (also owned by Google)

You can access Picnik HERE or inside Picasa

Picnik is going away on April 19, 2012 and it's now being offered for free -the advanced paid version (they are even fully reimbursing paid customers!)   --  [I believe they are integrating Picnik in Google+]

Additional items:
Esther shared with me this link to a free download and tutorial on how to print your 3x4 journal cards that you can use on your album.

And I found this link to free journal cards- HERE

Have a wonderful day! ~Gaby

Kissing Booth | Two Page Layout

Sharing a two page layout that I created for Happy N Scrappin'

I love love this picture! and love that it is on a layout now!
The Fancy Pants Love Story has the perfect color combination for my picture. I just really love when my paper and pictures match.  (I took attention away from Jasmine's green shirt by adding my title on top--I know, me covering green? lol)
All designs/cuts are from the Silhouette Online store -- the notebook edge I created using a EK punch.
Added some of the latest released Strawberry Truffle and Aqua Delight  and Valentine's twine and machine stitching.

Love how the Timeless Twine in Strawberry Truffle and Aqua Delight match my paper!

I added the journal entry using Photoshop Elements on an included tag (in the collection kit)
Hope you have a wonderful day! ~Gaby

Valentine's Tags | Timeless Twine

Today I have 3 tags created for Timeless Twine.
I created the twine heart using a Spellbinders die -  click here for Tutorial
The "Hecho con amor" stamp is from my comadrita Abby's Dilo en español stamps. Other stamps from Fiskars.
For this tag below I used the Valentine's twine, ribbon, a button and a self-adhesive heart embellishment.
For the tag below I tied a triple bow with Black Coffee twine and a chain I crochet using Valentine's twine.  After  die cutting and stamping the rose with Memento pink ink, I added color with Copic markers as you can see below.
Thanks for visiting!  ~Gaby

Supplies:  Other stamps by Fiskars and ribbon, buttons and adhesive heart from craft store in addition to Memento inks.
