Regresa pronto - Come back soon!

Today I created a card using my comadrita Abby's Dilo En Español - Say it in Spanish
stamps being released this week! over at Scrapbookaholic by Abby

Hoy cree una tarjeta usando los nuevos sellos que Abby va a sacar a la venta esta semana!

I stamped the background with acrylic paint for a distress look...
Utilice pintura acrílica para estampar la base de mi tarjeta.
Use the same Fiskars background stamp set to stamp the tag -
Sentiment by Dilo En Español -- Regresa Pronto/Come back soon!

Tulle is very easy to tie and very forgiving
El tulle es muy fácil de manejar cundo se crea un moño
Sentiment stamped twice, once in green and the other with brown ink to give it a contrast using Dilo En Español stamp.
Utilice dos colores diferentes de tinta para estampar "regresa pronto" dándole un doble tono.
Inside sentiment using same Dilo En Español stamp set - Te extraño/I miss you.
Scrapbookaholic By Abby stamps Dilo En Español will released on Friday!

Celebration Giveaway!!

Celebrating
México's Independence Day
Two Thousand Facebook Friends
and One Thousand Blog Friends
Giveaway!

I enjoyed Hillary Clinton's Press Statement....

Press Statement

Hillary Rodham Clinton
Secretary of State
Washington, DC
September 14, 2011

On behalf of President Obama and the people of the United States, I congratulate the people of Mexico on the 201st anniversary of your independence this September 16. We join you in celebrating Mexico’s rich history and culture and to honor the many accomplishments of the Mexican people.
Mexico and the United States share nearly 2,000 miles of border, conduct more than one billion dollars in two way trade every day, and enjoy ties of culture and family that reach deep into the hearts of both our people. We are linked by shared histories, values, and opportunities. These ties of friendship guide us as we work toward common goals and interests, from improving regional security to promoting greater prosperity for all our people. Neither country can address these challenges alone, but together we can find solutions to common problems for the benefit of our hemisphere and the world.
As you gather with family, friends, and loved ones to hear the Grito de Dolores and the bells of independence ringing out in plazas from Baja California to Quintana Roo, know that the United States stands with you as a friend and partner. ¡Viva México! and best wishes for a year of peace and prosperity. source

When Life gives you lemons....

A fun card using
Fancy Pants Beach Babe
before I share the inside, I have to share that this card is for a sister that always gives
me cards that make fun of age (I am the oldest sister)...some might be borderline mean, but
I can take it!.... hopefully she thinks this is funny!
...I know she will!  She does have freckles, ha!

I used Cricut Mini Monograms for the outer scallop; Just Because Cards and the Lite Savory Cartridges to create my card.  I also used Stickles "Scattered Straw" on the lemons.  Click on any item below to find it over at Happy N Scrappin'
I am entering this card in the Circle Blog challenge....
