Breast Cancer Awareness Card - with hope

I have another Breast Cancer Awareness Card!
As you might know, Breast Cancer Awareness - Early detection is celebrated the entire month of October!
Acknowledgement: Thanks  to all of you that were able to participate in LUFP!  and special thanks to Yolie for allowing me to be part of LUFP (her idea!) and to Celeste (Yolie's biggest cheerleader).

For this card I used Spellbinders, Copic sketch markers, Loralie Designs "Bra Tops" and MyCreativeTime's "Race For a Cure" stamp set.

-First I stamped the ribbon from MyCreativeTime's Race For a Cure stamp set.
-Second, I, using a making technique, stamped the bra stamp from Loralie Designs on top of the ribbon.
-Colored with Copic sketch markers.
-Cut with Spellbinders die.
-Inked with Antique Linen distress ink.
-Added ribbon and buttons.
-For card design or background I used another Spellbinders die and MM PP.
-Stitch around background
-Cut label with Sizzix/Tim Holtz die.
-Stamped sentiment to label and added DMC floss.

Welcome to the First Annual LINK UP FOR PINK linking party!!
We, Celeste, Yolie and yours truly, Gaby, are super excited the day is finally here!  We have over $3,000 worth of giveaways from 84 generous sponsors, that makes 153 prizes to give away!!!  Complete list here. As we all know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, but it should not start or end in October, we should always be aware. Remember to do your self-breast exams, send reminder cards to your friends to get their mammograms, and accompany a friend to their appointment.   We also like to announce Link Up for Pink now has a Relay for Life page.

RULES:  Please follow them we don't want to remove any links.
  1. Your project must have pink as the main color.  All crafts are welcomed.
  2. Please no backlinks.  Your Pink project must be new, created for LUFP.  You may however, enter other challenges.
  3. Link up as many projects as you wish.  Please enter only one project on one post.  If you are making a set of identical cards, that will count as one entry.  If you are making different projects, enter them on different posts and link them up separately.
  4. Link directly to your post, not your blog.  Please include our LUFP badge or link back to any of our blogs, that way others can join the party.
  5. Since this is a Linking Party, please visit and leave comments on at least 5 blogs of your choice.
  6. If you are making cards to donate to PA Breast Cancer Coalition, please write a little note of encouragement or sentiment on the inside of your card.  The cards will be given to newly diagnosed breast cancer patients in their Friends Like Me™ carepackages.   Write “Link Up for Pink” below your address and mail your cards directly to:

LUFP: Scrapbook Layout

I am still super excited to see all that pink everyday I open
my blog!!  Gorgeous creations everybody is linking!!

There's still time!  Hope you can link up your pink project with us!!

Today I have a layout with a pocket to hold the number and pamphlets from the Susan G Komen 5K that my sister and I participate on, and of course a picture or a strip of pictures in the pocket.
My niece lost the camera from last year, so this year we will make sure she does not hold the camera.
The picture you see I "borrowed" from the Susan G. Komen site. I adhered it with removable tape to be able to replace it after the run/walk on Oct 16th.
I used my SilhouetteSD for the title; Fiskars punches Large and XLarge for the clouds; MS heart edge punch; Hero Arts kids at play stamp; Hero Arts and Studio Calico for the cloud background stamps and MyCreativeTime's stamp set for the sentiments (One of our LUFP sponsors!)--I used different inks in shades of pinks (Memento and Uchida pens another LUFP sponsor!)

LUFP: Courage

Hello my crafty friends... This Celeste with Touched By A Butterfly.
Before I share with you my projects I want to thank everyone for linking up with us for Link Up For Pink.... Oh my I am so overwhelmed with the beautiful projects all of you have linked up......
You still have a few days to link up...

Here are some cards I made that I will be sending to the PA Breast Cancer Coalition.

The first two cards I made are very special to me... My daugther LaiLynn (11yrs old) drew these cute digi stamps. She is sooo super talented. I am so proud of her..... I just had to show her off a little. If you would like the digi stamps I will add them at the bottom of this post for you.....

I made this card using  the new Breast Cancer digi stamps from Sweet Stamping Treats. The crinkle ribbon is from Little Scrap Pieces. Both of these companies are sponsors of Link Up for Pink.....

I made this card using the phone rubber stamp from Fresh Brewed Designs. the beautiful crochet flowers are from Angie. They are both sponsors for Link Up for Pink....

I want to thank you all for joining us for Link Up for Pink..... You all have really helped us to spread the word for Breast Cancer Awareness..... It truly means the world to us..... Thank you so much.....

LUFP: You Are Loved

"We're not in Kansas anymore." I made it to the Emerald City! No, wait there's some pink, whoa that's a lot of PINK! Oh that's right I'm on Gaby's blog today!! Duh! HELLO!!  This is Yolie, from JustYolie, JustCreate!  I'm so lovin' all the wonderful creations linked so far!  Wow!! We have over 300+ link ups!! That's so wonderful!! :)  Remember you have until Friday, so there's plenty of time to make a card or two and link them up! :) Here' my project, a candle wreath. Aren't those roses gorgeous!? They are handmade by Celeste, you can find them in her store.  I used a 4" foam ring, covered it with pink organza.  I used a ruffled edge ribbon to cover the side and added large rhinestones to fill up some of the spaces.   I cut 2 scallops; one pink polka dot paper; another out of a cereal box and glued them together.   Lastly, I added the pink butterfly I purchased at Dollar Tree. :)
Here's my card:  The BCA angel is FREE at Guylou's Inimibility.  The cute BCA Bunny was designed by the adorable and young artist LaiLynn, she's only 11 years old!  She's also Celeste's daughter. :)  I colored the wings with Fairy Dust paint by Creative Inspirations.  You can purchase them at Fresh Brewed Designs.  I also embossed and added pink sequins; the sentiment is by Studio G. :)

Thank you,
Yolie
