Look what I just run into at Joann....

I only purchased one, but they had  8 of them. (I will go back with coupon or when they are on sale) I should have taken pictures with my phone, but I thought I could come home and find pictures on the Internet, but nothing!  There were no postings of these new folder on the Sizzix nor Basic Grey official sites as of last night. (don't you sometimes wonder why big companies do not immediately advertise on their sites their new releases????)

I also found many of the ek extra extra large punches at Joann (24), only 8 at Michaels, but only 6 at the official ek site!  (a bit weird to me!)

The punch to your right is the regular ek success and the one to your left is one of the new super large?

On the background you can see that I punch a sample of several just to test them ( I usually test them before I throw away the packaging because some of previous punches I have purchased from different vendors do not punch all the way or are a bit faulty).

I than discovered this new product from Fiskars

This is the starter kit at $12.99 and at the bottom you can see additional stamps at $3.99. You can also purchased different ink color cartridges, it comes with a black one and a "doodle flowers" stamp.

Fiskars Punches and testament to my addiction!

Today in between doing my niece's make up for her wedding today and getting grand baby dolled up, and getting ready myself, and getting lost while trying to make sure I arrived in time... I was 2 minutes late!! (no damage done!!  (The Wedding party was still getting ready), I was able to create this bag!  It was on my mind and I just could not let it go!!!

This was created using a lunch paper bag, a door cut using the Christmas cartridge, a piece of acetate cut from a cartridge packaging, a piece of card stock for the roof, some hemp cord and several Fiskars punches!!!

My Joann just started selling these New Fiskars Punches. I got them at 60% off minus my teacher's additional 15% off!!!!!!  What a great buy!!!!

This is the beginner or starter set! and the most expensive at $20 regular price.

You choose your punch and insert it in the starter piece. It fits perfectly, there is no room for mistake, it only goes in one way! It has magnets.

Here you can see the silver part inserted in the starter piece (blue), the punch top (blue and orange) and the clear or guide that gets attached by the magnets.

The starter piece with the punch insert are under the paper bag, and the clear piece of the starter kit is on top of the bag or the outside. There are lines or markings on the clear guide that help you line up your project!

You place your punches top part (again, it only goes in one way, no room for mistake and than your press to punch.

Here you can see that I punched two squares to represent the windows. I than attached the piece of acetate inside with double sided tape, added the door, roof, hemp and sentiment and voila!!!

Again, it was a quick I have to do this or I will die!!!! Testament to my addiction!!!!!

I did not have time to post, but here I am, right after the wedding doing it!!!  LOL!

The Penultimate Two-Page Layout for Yessie

I have one more after this to finish a 9 Two-Page layout and two One-Page layouts Album to give to my niece/ahijada this Saturday at her Bridal Shower.
This layout again was created with DCWV Linen Closet and a PageMap layout. And I say again because I have created 7 two-page LO using DCWV Linen Closet stack with PageMap's inspiration. I have also created one two-page LO using BG Capella collection in addition to the two single LOs.

This is a fun LO using a lot of leftover pieces cut 1"x 1", 2" and 3". 
Used Fiskars punch and DCWV Linen Closet embellisments.
Inked with Distress Inks in Vintage Photo and Antique Linen.
The letters were cut at 1" using Gypsy Font.

And One More Two-Page LO for Yessie

This is for their save the date picture taken day. Once again this LO was created with PageMaps inspiration and the Linen Closet stack from DCWV.  The LO asked for 3 pictures on the left page, but I decided to add their actual invitation or note "to save the date".

I cut the hearts both in print and in black to give them some dimension. Everything was inked with Ranger antique linen and MS chalk ink -blue.  EK punch for the zig zag, epoxy letters, and DCWV embellishments were used.  The ribbon is the actual ribbon from their announcement.

I am not liking the journaling  mmhh, I think I will change it.  Anyway, this LO only took me less than an hour from planing the LO to the paper, cutting, inking, glueing...... I am so proud of myself!!

Yet another Two-Page LO for Yessie

This LO was inpired by a BG kit-Sugar Rush using DCWV Linen Closet stack.

Jolee's The Big Day and some Sandylion embellishments in addition to a couple of butterflies cut with MS butterfly punch. I also created a button with Imaginisce and added a few BG rub-ons.
