Catching Air at 45 A Two-Page LO using BG Origins

Welcome to the bi-monthly challenge
at ScrapTiffany
Today the challenge is Sports

I created this two page layout using the Basic Grey POTM
that you can find at HappyNScrappin

This is Angel (aka DH) --He use to ride at a competitive level in his younger days....
He is so proud of these pictures and the fact that he was still riding at 45. But after a few bumps and bruises (actually, broken bones, tore ligaments and couple a concussions!!).....
He is now all into Golf, but won't let go of the Dirt Bike, just in case....

I added some machine stitching to the upper left page and the lower right page and the bottom labels.
The labels are from the Cricut Embossing Plus Fanciful Labels --I printed on my printer and than cut/embossed.

If you purchase just 6 of any year's BG kits, the owners at HappyNScrappin will give you the album for free!  (you had to purchase 12 of the 2010-11 before)

Recycling a Bag with Tinkerbell-Cricut

Just a quick hello and posting.
My grand daughter Jasmine is really into Tinkerbell, so I created this bag in a Jiffy because I could not find a bag big enough to wrap her oh so desired Unicorn Pillow Pet for Christmas.
I recycled a take out paper bag from Olive Garden.
Not a great picture.
And not your typical Xmas decor, but it was a hit with Jasmine, and-that-is-all-that-matters!
I am glad the bag survived. I forgot to take pictures on Dec. 24th.
I cut the flower design at 11.5 in. and followed the color suggestions on the handbook.

I created the same design on the back or other side of the bag to cover the restaurant's logo minus the Tinker tag.  I will re-recycle and create a LO with Tinker and the flower bed altering it a bit.

Announcement:
Come back in a few hours. I will be posting a

Treat Bags/Purses - Cricut Forever Young and Mickey and Friends carts

I created this Purses and Bags for my goddaughter and her cousin's b-day party.
I used the Forever Young to cut the purses using 12x24 cardstock and decorated with Minnie Mouse.
The boy bags I purchased at PartyCity and decorated with Mickey Mouse.

I welded the letters to for Abby's name on Gypsy before cutting purse. It created and opening, I than placed a piece of cardstock on back and glued the little pieces previously cut? huh?
Lots of little pieces to glue!!!

Here you can see a red purse's back and a yellow purse's front.
I also used Imaginisce to create buttons with little Abby and Chris' faces and added some ribbon and bling. My first button was of Mickey's face, the other of the b-day kids.
The purses can hold plenty of candy!!!!

A Card, A Purse with Cards... and another Card

My sister Gladys text me on my way home from work asking me if she could come over after she dropped my nephew to attend Grad Night at Disneyland so that we can make a card for our niece Vanessa who is graduating tomorrow (or shall I say today!). Of course my reply was yes.
We made more than a card. We made a purse and three cards to go inside the purse and a Pot Flower card.
Oh, our niece loves Tinkerbell and we had but a few hours to improvise and create...
I suggested items that I had previously create with other papers...

First the Pot Flower Card

Than a purse with cards
We created a purse using 12x24 card stock from Provo Craft
I found a sheet of Tinkerbell vellum so we hand cut the purse flap
I had the ribbon but it did not have wire, so we improvised and used some wire I had and sandwiched it between to pieces of ribbon.
We than created three cards with envelopes to go on the inside of the purse for her to give as she pleases. The Disney Tinkerbell cart was used to cut the flower (Duh, I forgot I had the cart before we cut the other flowers and it was too late to redo.)

The inside of the cards read "small is the new Big" from the Tinker cart.  We thought it was so appropriate since my niece is very petite (OK, short!).

I almost forgot to mention that our 7 year old niece Arianna also wanted to participate in the fun, so we gave her some stickers, paper, glue, etc. and with a little help this is what she came up with!
