My sister Gladys text me on my way home from work asking me if she could come over after she dropped my nephew to attend Grad Night at Disneyland so that we can make a card for our niece Vanessa who is graduating tomorrow (or shall I say today!). Of course my reply was yes.
We made more than a card. We made a purse and three cards to go inside the purse and a Pot Flower card.
Oh, our niece loves Tinkerbell and we had but a few hours to improvise and create...
I suggested items that I had previously create with other papers...First the Pot Flower Card
We created a purse using 12x24 card stock from Provo Craft
I found a sheet of Tinkerbell vellum so we hand cut the purse flap
I had the ribbon but it did not have wire, so we improvised and used some wire I had and sandwiched it between to pieces of ribbon.
We than created three cards with envelopes to go on the inside of the purse for her to give as she pleases. The Disney Tinkerbell cart was used to cut the flower (Duh, I forgot I had the cart before we cut the other flowers and it was too late to redo.)
The inside of the cards read "small is the new Big" from the Tinker cart. We thought it was so appropriate since my niece is very petite (OK, short!).
I almost forgot to mention that our 7 year old niece Arianna also wanted to participate in the fun, so we gave her some stickers, paper, glue, etc. and with a little help this is what she came up with!
Thanks for visiting!

Love, love tinkerbell! The purse is adorable with the cards that go inside of it. And the flowerpot with Tink is very cute as well. Tell your niece congratulations on her achievements!
I love the purses! What did you use to make them? The project is just so adorable:) Congratulations to Vanessa~

I know, it was really late and did not type/post everything that was used....
Madison~ I used the Tags, Bags, Boxes & More cart and cut the purse on pg 118 at its largest possible on a 12x24 cardstock. (or 11.40 ht on Gypsy)
Adorable! That purse is just too cute! Sounds like you all had some good crafting fun!
Really nice job Gladys and Gaby!!!! How big is the bag?
It accomodates the standard A2 cards
