Día De Reyes Hop!

Welcome to the Third Annual Día De Reyes Hop!
Today not only do I celebrate Día De Reyes, but the most important date in my life!
Today is my only child's birthday!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MI REINA!!!!!!

On to the hop!
The Magi, or Three Wise Men or Three Kings as it is traditionally called today and is refereed to as "El Día de los Reyes" or "Día de Reyes" or "Los (3) Reyes Magos" in most Hispanic countries (Most countries celebrate this day) were three distinguished foreigners that traveled from the East to bring the new born KING gifts. (lots of history on this...)

As a child to celebrate our parents would have us place a shoe outside the kitchen or back door on the night of the 5th and the morning of the 6th "Los Reyes" would bring us gifts!  --There are so many ways different countries and families celebrate this day (a lot a countries/families do not share gifts on Dec 25, but on this day).  You will read several different stories on this hop, enjoy!

I created my first Home Décor project using vinyl.

 I used brown vinyl and my Silhouette Cameo to cut the files from Lori Whitlock and Silhoutte Online.
I adhered to a square green (of course!) charger plate.  The colors match my home's décor.

I am thinking on using the nativity and star on another charger plate to have the matching pair.
