Today I am a Guest Designer over at
CrazyAboutCricut!!
and the challenge is RED WHITE & BLUE
I used the My Mind's Eye American Made Collection that you can find over at Happy N Scrappin'
Cricut Cuts:
I used "Independence Day" for the Red, White & Blue title;
the "Pack Your Bags" for the waves (the layer of a design);
the "Simply Charmed" for the bucket and sand; and
the "Sponge Bob Square Pants" cartridge for the life saver.

A 4th of July Wreath
Happy 4th of July!!
Today I am posting a wreath I created using the My Mind's Eye American Made Collection that you can find at Happy N Scrappin'
I used my Cricut E2, Gypsy, Imagine and Juliana Michaels file that she shared on the Cricut Circle Blog. I loved her Spring Wreath so much that I had to create my own (was not able to get the cartridges required for the Imagine to create/scraplift hers before Spring was over, so I am now creating a Patriotic one!)
I am entering this project on the Weekly Challenge over at the Cricut Circle Blog. The Challenge: Whether you are from the United States, Canada, Australia or somewhere else, we want you to show us your Patriotic Pride with this next challenge! Create any type of project (scrapbook layout, card, home decor, . . . it’s up to you!) showing off your patriotic spirit!
Thanks for your comments!! I will be posting another project using MME American Made --
I am guest designing over at CrazyAboutCricut!! this coming Thursday!

Explosion Box
Welcome to GabyCreates
and to the Explosions Everywhere Blog Hop
Hopefully you just arrived from visiting JESS, if not please start at the beginning with the super sweet Erika by clicking HERE
I created an explosion box intended as a gift wrap for my nephew that just came back from Afghanistan a few weeks back. His birthday is the tomorrow, but he always gets patriotic themed parties, etc.
I found a tutorial at Splitcoaststampers that I liked using a Spellbinders die for the cover. Actually it is the YouTube video on the link and not the actual tutorial. I already knew how to make the bottom part. It is really very easy! And for the inside, more than a year ago I came across the idea of having things floating by using a piece of acrylic. (don't remember?)
I used the My Mind's Eye American Made Collection that you can find over at Happy N Scrappin'
I will be creating and posting here two more projects using this same collection. I will post one on Monday and the other on Thursday (Thursday I will be guest designing for CrazyAboutCricut!).
We are having a short and sweet blog with a great sponsor, so make sure you visit all the blogs for inspiration on creation your own explosion box!
Here is the line up in case you get lost or find a broken link.
