We have a new challenge over at Zury Artsy Craftsy

This time I got to play with Charlotte and the theme is to make a card for a professional.  I chose Charlotte to give to an art teacher.

I stamped the sentiment using Dilo En Español's stamps... some news on that on Saturday [wink]

Zury Artsy Craftsy Baptism Challenge

Today I am sharing this card using Natan, a Zury Artsy Craftsy digital design.

A bit hard to photograph the foil I added using blue foil and a laminator.  I really wanted gold foil but the two craft stores I visited were out of the gold foil so blue it is.
It looks really pretty in person.

ZuriArtsyCraftsy DT | Mother's Day

Today is my first post as a designer for Zuri Artsy Craftsy.

Spring Has Sprung Blog Hop | SDS-SVGAttic

Welcome to the SVG Attic-SnapDragon Snippets Spring Has Sprung blog hop and to my blog!  
We are so excited to have you join us today!

At each stop of the hop we hope you have been inspired by the creativity of the design teams of SVG Attic and Snapdragon Snippets.

I have created two layouts for this hop.  First up is this layout with a background I created using watercolors.

You have to trust me that the colors look much better in person, more subtle.
On this layout I used the "Dyeing to have some fun", "eggs and brush" files.

 And it does not look this wrinkled in person either.  Something about the sun and my camera made it look... mhhh too much light?  Anyway, I really really like it!

I added gold thread behind the picture and stitched some messy stitches on the bottom left of the layout, and added a bunny and ducky paperclips.

I forgot to ink or add shading to my "dyeing to have some fun" sign and I was not liking it, so I added shading with a Prismacolor pencil and I liked it better.  I used colored vellum on the dye container as my layer and behind the picture.  I inked the brush with alcohol markers.

For my second layout I used a file that I have been wanting or meaning to use for a while now.  The "On the hunt" is such file.  I like it so much that I pretty much used the colors that you see on the store's ad.

For this layout I got a bit more creative and ambitious.  I decided to do the weaving right on the layout instead of on a separate panel. Love it! and it was really not that hard.

I also cut additional eggs from the sign layers in white and colored them with alcohol markers.
