Card and Box | Dilo En Español

Today I am sharing a card and a box celebrating Father's Day over at Dilo En Español.
Hoy estoy compartiendo una tarjeta y una cajita celebrando el Día De Los Padres en el blog Dilo En Español.

The card will be for my son-in-law. I thought it was so perfect since he adores my two grand daughters! and the little girls look just about the right age as my babies!
Esta tarjeta es para que mis nietecitas se la obsequien a su papá (mi yerno).
The box will be for my sister to give to her husband. She has been calling him Amor for more then 25 years! Some of her friends think his name is Amor! lol
Esta cajita la cree pensando en mi hermana.  Mi hermana le a llamado a su esposo Amor desde que se casaron hace mas de 25 años!  Algunas de sus amigas piensan que Amor es el nombre de el!!
Box:
I used the stamp "feliz dia" from the "Que Siga La Fiesta" Set and continuously stamped the words to create my bow and the strip around the box.
I used the stamp "amor" from the "Para Toda La Vida" Set for my tag.

Card:
I used the word from the stamp "la princecita de papi" from the "Mi Bebé" Set using a masking technique for my tag, and the stamp "eres lo maximo" from the "Muy Agradecido" Mini Set for the inside of my card.
The card in the tie shape and the silhoutte of a dad with two daughters is from the Silhouette online store.

Additional items:
Brown SU ink, white Colorbok ink, Timeless Twine, PTI tag die, kraft box, sewing machine, thread, brad, Bazzill kraft PP and cardstock in white and black.

Project Life | Week 18

This week I decided to use lots of cutting files for my journal cards and keep my journal entries on the back of each journal card.

Right page:
This particular week, I did not take 7 pictures, only 5 so I added 2 extra pictures of Caro's party and the decorations I helped her make for her Cinco de Mayo/Graduation party.
Each of my cutting files tells a story.  All files on the left side are from the Silhouette online store.
The two cutting files to the left are from the Silhouette online store while the two to the right are mainly from Lettering Delights.

Project Life | Week 17

Week 17 marks my birthday celebration so I got a little bit carried away with dies and cutting files do adorn/embellish my journal cards.

Here is week 17 with an additional 6x12 insert to add all my journaling.  Although it is private to my blog, it is not private for my family to read.  I wanted to show how you can add lots of journaling by using 6x12 page protector.

Below is the spread or layout with the insert flipped to the other side.  Here I just added lots of photos.

Left page:
Used lots of washi/paper tape to create a "spacer" card.  I was super excited to have found Disney paper tape... I just could not get my hands on the paper tape that has all or just Mickey's hands on it.
Here I used two cutting files from the Silhoutte online store and a chipboard embellishment.  I additionally created a pull tab with the red hearts paper tape since I do have journaling behind or under the protector.  FYI Page protectors have the opening on the other side or when yo use them as the right page.  In order to be able to pull this journal card out I cut, using a blade, a slit across being careful no to cut too much.

Right page:
More paper tape.  The 3D glasses is a die from QuicKutz.  The camera die is from MFT.
Key and round sentiment are from the Silhouette online store and the "buckle up" is a die from QuicKutz.
