"Noche De Paz" LO for Creative Cutter Room

Welcome to our first ever sketch challenge over at the CCR!

I am so happy to be participating in today's challenge!
This is my take on the sketch:

Isn't this a Great sketch! Courtesy of Let's scrap!

I used the Cricut Twinkle Toes cartridge for the piano and musical notes.
I cut (layer) the music sheet out of off white cardstock and stamped the music notes with a stamp by Hampton Art/Cosmo Cricket and Tim Holtz distress ink in walnut stain.  The piano keys were drawn by DH.
All PP is by Making Memories Twinkle Collection that you can find over at Happy N Scrappin'
I used vellum to type my journal entry. Font: LD Christmas Carol from my computer.  All trims and snow flake brads are by MM Twinkle Collection. (the red trim is from last year's collection)

A Two Page LO using Doodlebug ColorWheel Essentials

Good Tuesday Morning

Today I have a Two Page Layout using the colorful
That you can find over at Happy N Scrappin'

This is my Jasmine when she turned 6th --
When I first received this collection I did not know what I would come up with, I just knew it had to be colorful.... and then it hit me!  I remembered these pictures and Jasmine's colorful skirt!  I think it matches oh so perfect!
Here you can see that I created the journal entry lines with my sewing machine.
Above you can see that I used several of the embellishments included on the kit (flowers, butterfly) and the included rub-on alphabet in addition to more stitching.
More stitching and more of the embellishments included on your kit .
Just wanted to show how most of the embellishments have lots of glitter!

This is the kit that you can find over at the HappyNScrappin'.
Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment! ~Gaby

So Very Thankful Fancy Pants Summer's End

Today is challenge day over at CookingWithCricut
and today is my last post as a member of the
CWC Design Team ---
I have enjoyed an entire year of working with Melin!
and the fun and sweet ladies in the four Design Teams (quarterly terms).

Today's Challenge #57 is to use Scarecrows, Hay, or Crows and a Sketch.

I created this two page layout of my babies enjoying the pumpkin patch.

On this page (left) I used green and brown twine, genuine hemp, couple of tags, MCT stamps (word "love"), the title is from the FP Summer's End collection's "glitter cuts" -- and Cricut Pop Up Neighborhood cartridge.
The bottom orange colored stitch is a rub-on from the FP collection's rub-on sheet.  The brown stitching was done with a sewing machine and brown thread.
I inked the hay, corn field and pumpkins with distress in and chalk. Added brads to wheels.
For the right page I used the Cricut Pop Up Neighborhood and Old West (hay). Additionally I utilized green and brown twine, FP rub-ons for the orange stitch, word-Fall and the "so much to be thankful for" phrase, the leaves are from the FP collection's glitter cuts.  I wrapped genuine hemp on the scarecrow's neck and on the hay pack. Finished it with a MCT stamp on the tag and stapled the twine with Tim Holtz tiny attacher.
