Project Life | Week 11

Can't believe it is April already!
Today I am sharing week 11 and am happy to see that I have made it this far...
I am almost done with week 12 and started working on week 13 (to share later).

This particular week was a really busy week for me and my family.  Lots of events to share.
Actually too many pictures to fit in a normal two page layout (I just couldn't chose one per event), so I added a 6"x12" page in between the regular 12"x12" pages... and that was not enough to include the pictures of my Jasmine's birthday, so I have decided to just mentioned it on my journal and create separate layouts of her special day.

I added a little tab on the 6"x12" to direct the viewer to flip the page...
Here a look at the other side of the 6"x12" insert.
Most of my stickers/embellishments are from the Echo Park Graceful collection in addition to two journal cards.  The 4"x6" card I created with my Silhouette Cameo and a file from the online store.
Above and below you can see some of the EP stickers and washi tape from the SMASH collection.
On the first journal (EP) card I stamped a coffee stain.  The second journal card from the PL Clementine collection is one of the cards that unfolds to a 4"x6" and includes lots of info about this week.  Every time I include more information on the back of my journal cards, I staple or add a tab so the viewer can pull out and read.
Closer look at the journal card I cut with my Cameo using the card file I welded the word eleven on top.
The pin button is from Ormolu.
This week I have some items I want to keep and this large envelope is perfect for adding those items you want to preserve for later. I have not yet come up with the title/date/name for my folder.
These are some of the items I included from my Palm Springs CUE conference.  I used this paper bag, cut it in half and sew on one side.
This is my paper bag with some stamping and a die/paper clip from LifestyleCrafts (previously QuicKutz) and a TH mini paper clip.
The big pocket will go as the last "page" on my album with items collected during the year.

Grandma's House LO | SEI Desert Spring Collection

Today I am sharing a layout I created  for Happy N Scrappin' using
the SEI Desert Spring Collection

and the so cute set of Market Street stamps "Home Sweet Home" that I won while their release!!  How lucky can I be?  When I saw this set I knew I just needed to have it to create these scene.   Now I need the set called "neighborhood" that has 3 more cute houses!... and there is more!
I just love this picture of my grand daughters.  They were having breakfast before boarding the airplane to come spend the summer with me!
I stamped the tree top and the house roof on PP and hand cut layering it on my layout after previously stamping it on my layout.  The fence, mailbox and letter I stamped on white cardstock and colored.  The bird, 3 hearts together, flowers, clouds are all from the same set!
I cut my title with my Silhouette Cameo 3 times to give it depth and spritzed it to give it some shimmer. (that typo is just bothering me...have to purchase correcting tape for the typewritter! :)
The journal note card and envelope were cut using PTI dies.   I added machine stitching to finish it up.

Project Life | Week Ten

Today I am sharing week 10 of my PL

For the left page I utilized the 3x4 journal cards included on the PL Clementine kit.  I created the 4x6 using MLS PP and stamped away!
The stamps are from Ali Edwards, Market Street and a coffee stain I do not remember where I purchased. (it is not the Studio Calico one, all I remember is that I had to have one and I found an online vendor selling this similar one... will have to look further).  UPDATE: found the stamp HERE
I additionally added a button of Texas that I made as well as the banners... some of the smaller white banner I cut using a PTI die. All inks are SU.
